Code of Conduct for Agents
Our Code of Conduct is designed to protect both our agents and users of the service. In order to make use of the service all of our users must agree to the code of conduct when signing up for an account.
Client Contact
- If you wish to add users to a call list or contact them again then their permission must be asked on first contact
Advertising Rules
- Anywhere the service is advetised the cost of the service must be clearly displayed e.g. cost 25p + standard operator rates
- The IPI logo must also be displayed. If you wish to use an altered version (e.g. if you wish to use less colours to save printing costs) of the logo then our permission must be gained before it is used.
- The ipi-SMS.co.uk url must be displayed on any advertisement
- You must keep your serial codes uptodate so that potential customers do not receive old/incorrect information
- All adverts must follow the guidelines set out by PhonePayPlus. They provide a free advertisement checking service if you have any concerns regarding your adverts.
Your Account
- Any account showing no activity for more than two months will be removed (after attempted contact). To keep your account active a simply updating a properties details will be sufficient
Complaints
- All complaints from members of the public will be taken very seriously and will be fully investigated.
Our Responsibilities
- We will keep all data secure and backed up at regular intervals
- We will endeavour to provide clients with text messages as quickly as possible. However, at times of high mobile network traffic there may be a wait of up to 30 minutes until they receive the text message/SMS
- We will ensure that the internet servers used maintain 99.9% (or better) availability
- To promote and educate the public about the IPI system so that when it is seen on your advertisements they will know and trust the system
